Day 0 with Garrett

Deanna now has her epidural and is feeling GOOD! We chose not to take any pics during the contractions over the previous 18 hours. Only a few more hours to go!

One of the nurses was nice enough to grab my camera and take pictures as Garrett made his entrance into this world. Here is the clock from the room - 1243 AM.

And Dad got to cut the cord! They immediately put two clamps on the cord and told me to cut right between them. I couldn't screw it up . . .

Baby went straight from the doctor to Deanna's arms, where he stayed for about the first hour and a half.

Deanna looks on as Garrett heats up after his first bath. He wasn't too happy during the bath, but he definitely appeared to enjoy the heat.
